The Schedule for the Six Day Rally:

On each rally, there are 3 RALLY days, and a REST day.

RALLY DAYS include open wrenching and hang-out time from about 6 am to 12 pm. Depending on the weather, we'll take a break from our mental health retreat activities from about noon to 6 pm, when we'll reconvene for a catered dinner. What you do during the break is completely up to you, but most people choose to go on a completely unorganized, unofficial, and unguided ride with the new friends they've met at the rally.

During the REST DAY, we encourage you to check out: Zion National Park (1 hour away), the Grand Canyon (2.5 hours away), Bryce Canyon National Park (2.5 hours away), Las Vegas (2 hours away), or visit beautiful nearby state parks, relax in the hot tub, or massage chair. Most people welcome a day off the bike to recuperate after riding or perform maintenance. As for meals, feel free to eat whatever is in the kitchen and fridge, but you're responsible for your own food if you’d like to eat out. (Riders usually want to do different things this evening so it's difficult to all meet for dinner.) Tyler and Jessie will have the day off.

• Monday: Arrival day. Usually everyone arrives from 4-6 pm.  We will eat dinner once everyone has arrived. Gear check. Waiver Submission. Collect remaining balances.

• Tuesday: RALLY DAY 1.

• Wednesday: RALLY DAY 2.

• Thursday: REST DAY.

• Friday: RALLY DAY 3.

• Saturday: Departure day. Check out mid morning.

• If you upgrade to RALLY+ you get to arrive early to the rally on Sunday, do a short "shakedown" ride with Tyler on Monday, and then depart on the next Sunday if you'd like.

• If you need to book extra days either before or after the rally, please contact us or add extra days to your shopping cart, we charge $125 per extra night (available in St. George only).

If you need to rent a motorcycle, we have a few bikes available to rent from $150 to $250 per riding day. We only charge for the days you ride. We also collect a $500 refundable damage deposit that will be returned after the rally and inspection. Please inquire for more details on rentals.

For SOLID rallies, appropriate motorcycles include dirt bikes and most dual sports 320 lbs and less. Dual sport motorcycles over this weight are welcome but many riders who have brought larger motorcycles have found it far more difficult. Adventure motorcycles 400 lbs and above are not appropriate for Solid Rallies. However, if you can comfortably reach the critical speed without an issue in sand, loose surfaces, hill climbs, and descents on your ADV motorcycle, you're welcome to bring it on a Solid Rally.

For SCHOOLING rallies, you're welcome to bring motorcycles up to 500 lbs, but we very heavily recommend that you bring a motorcycle under 350 lbs. The skills and techniques you will learn will be vastly easier on a lighter motorcycle.

On St. George rallies, we prefer motorcycles to be plated and street legal, but it's also okay to trailer the bikes to the riding area. Your bike will need to have a minimum range of 60 miles.
On Capitol Reef rallies, also called Riot at the Reef, motorcycles must be plated and street legal with a minimum range of 120 miles.

Motorcycles should be in excellent mechanical condition, with a strong battery, fuel injection or a properly jetted carburetor (2500 feet for St. George and 8000 feet for Capitol Reef), and should have some type of flat mitigation system. Approved systems include Nuetech Tubliss, Mousses, or Ultra Heavy Duty Tubes. Standard tubes and tubeless (rim to tire with no inner tube) tire systems are not allowed.

If your motorcycle has a failure and can't be operated on a ride day, you're welcome to rent one of our backups starting at $150 per day.

Are you a “Repeat Offender” who has already been to a rally? We'd love to have you back! We now offer a 3% stacking discount, up to 30%, for every previous rally you've attended!  Just mention how many rallies you’ve been on when you book and we’ll refund it with your damage deposit after the rally!

Nobody likes fees! So we accept three different payment options:

• You can pay 100% of the cost right now and we'll cover the credit card processing fee. Your spot is instantly guaranteed with this method.
• You can pay 50% of the cost right now and the remainder when you get to the rally with cash, check, or Zelle. We charge a $30 processing fee with this option. Your spot is instantly guaranteed with this method. 
• You can pay 1% of the cost right now, then send a check or Zelle for the 50% deposit, and the remaining 49% when you arrive at the rally. Your spot will not be guaranteed or added to the calendar until we receive the 50% deposit via check or Zelle. This is a good way for all of us to avoid fees, though.

The cost you see includes a $200 damage deposit to cover any issues with headsets, lodging, or other property. You will get this damage deposit back in cash after the rally if everything is returned in good shape.

What about the difficulty? 

You may wonder if a Solid or a Schooling rally will fit your riding experience best. What it really comes down to is if you can reach the"critical speed" on different terrains like sand, loose dirt, rocks, scree, descents, hillclimbs, etc. The critical speed refers to having enough momentum in a given terrain for a particular motorcycle to have maximum control and energy efficiency. A few signs that you're not reaching the critical speed are if you often put your feet down, if you seesaw the handlebars, if you completely stop before an obstacle, or if you are going too slow that the bike can't easily be balanced. If you haven't quite reached the critical speed for yourself, come to a schooling rally and let's get you across that "sand barrier"! If you can reach the critical speed in most terrains, then you will love a Solid rally.

Solid Rally Difficulty Level:

INTERMEDIATE - FLOW TEST maximum difficulty rating: 3

You must be comfortable reaching the "critical speed" in sand, loose dirt, hardpack, singletrack, doubletrack, rocky terrain, scree, hill climbs, and descents.

FITNESS LEVEL: VERY GOOD - Prepare for 4 to 8 hours of intense physical exertion per riding day.

Schooling Rally Difficulty Level:

NOVICE - FLOW TEST maximum difficulty rating: 2+

A schooling rally often has a short, unofficial, optional riding clinic that takes place on private land. We will work on reaching the "critical speed" in sand, dirt, hardpack, singletrack, doubletrack, rocky terrain, hill climbs, and descents. We will also practice acceleration, braking, clutch control, energy conservation techniques, bike recovery/lifting techniques, and even some psychological/visualization techniques to help you confidently reach the critical speed. 

FITNESS LEVEL: MODERATE - Prepare for 4 to 6 hours of moderate physical exertion per riding day. 

Our rallies include approximately 10% paved, 90% dirt mix of on and off-road riding, so be prepared for moderate trails, but also sections of pavement. You should expect to ride the following terrain on any rally:

• Sand sections
• Some loose rocks
• Steep climbs and descents
• Whoop sections
• Moderate obstacles
• Double and Singletrack
• Some spots with exposure

Please keep in mind, Solid rallies are only for intermediate/ advanced riders who are comfortable going the critical speed in terrain like sand, scree, loose dirt, mud, hillclimbs, and steep descents. When riders who haven't yet reached the critical speed come to Solid rallies, they often find the trails far too difficult, and the entire group must slow down and pick much easier trails to compensate. You, and everybody else on the rally will have a lot more fun if you choose the right rally for your skill level.
